Sarmasti PLLC has represented commercial lenders and borrowers in a variety of transactions and litigation. The firm’s wide-ranging experience has included representing borrowers or lenders, including banks, in structuring loans, the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of equipment leasing agreements, promissory notes, lines of credit, mortgages and personal property/receivables security agreements, purchase options, assignment of leases and rents, and other loan-related documents. In addition to having experience relating to banking and lending transactions, Sarmasti PLLC has also represented clients relating to litigations involving commercial/bank loans/borrowings, hard-money lending, distressed receivables, factoring transactions, swap, and ISDA master agreements.
In addition to representing its own clients, Sarmasti PLLC also serves as local counsel to firms practicing outside New York or New Jersey. The firm is also often enlisted as conflict counsel to firms practicing in New York and New Jersey. When enlisted as local counsel, Sarmasti PLLC’s attorneys are considerate of the existing attorney-client relationship between the out-of-state firms and the clients they represent, and therefore solely focus on providing those firms local experience and knowledge to help the outside firms better serve their client’s needs.
