Ms. Maddux is an experienced attorney with more than a decade of experience in litigation and transactional matters.
Ms. Maddux began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York and quickly advanced to become Senior Corporation Counsel, where she regularly appeared in court representing clients at all stages of litigation. During that time, she also served as the Assistant Borough Chief for the Manhattan Trial Unit, overseeing attorneys and support staff. Thereafter, Ms. Maddux was promoted to the division’s Special Litigation Unit, handling cases that were high-profile and posed the highest financial exposure to New York City.
Following her tenure at New York City’s Corporation Counsel, Ms. Maddux continued her legal career in private practice representing corporate clients in transactional and litigation matters concerning a variety of issues.
Ms. Maddux earned her Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Rutgers University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Maddux served as the Managing Business Editor of the Computer and Technology Law Journal, the Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and as a Legal Research and Writing Assistant to a Professor.
Ms. Maddux is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
